Tobacco Blending Event at The Humidor, Westmont, IL - January 24th, 2016

I'll have to look up where westmont is. I'm east central illinois so if I have nothing going on and it's not too far, I'll make an appearance.

How Many Blends Do You Have Now

Entirely too f$@:#! many. At least 100, probably more, haven't counted in some time. I've got at least 10 tins on the list to be popped.

    "The Smoker" Blends Unavailable?

Damn, that's a shame. Looks like I may have to take mcitinner up on his offer.

    Tsuge Raijin, God of Thunder

It's very tasty, hopefully your friends have high nicotine tolerance. Even with the stout blends I smoke it's pretty potent. I have to do small bowls or I get pretty dizzy.

    "The Smoker" Blends Unavailable?

They were a P&C exclusive, a reissue of some Old Mel Feldman blends. They just came out a year or two ago I believe.

    Tsuge Raijin, God of Thunder

Nate, I enjoyed it immensely. Definitely scratched the Nicotine itch, and it's very smooth and flavorful. Definitely gets a spot in my permanent rotation.

    Tsuge Raijin, God of Thunder

Let me preface this by saying that I am a nicotine fiend. I regularly smoke Kendal Kentucky, Dark Birdseye, and Old Joe Krantz without batting an eye. That being said, this stuff is potent. Like, seriously strong. Smells great in the tin, very chocolatey with some raisin overtones. Very coarse...

Can You Re-dedicate a Perique Bomb?

I broke in a few pipes with some Old Joe Krantz some months back. After a few bowls of that blend I swear my pipes tasted like mustard. True story. But to answer your question, retorts generally do a pretty good job of getting a ghost out of a pipe. If you know someone who has one it might be...

    "The Smoker" Blends Unavailable?

Been looking to try some of these blends for a while now but I can't seem to find them on the P&C website. Are they no longer being offered or am I just blind?

Where to Find Decent Quality Affordable Leather Jacket?

Just a plain old jacket or maybe motorcycle jacket, I already own a faux leather bomber and I like it, I just wanted something that was actual leather.

Where to Find Decent Quality Affordable Leather Jacket?

So the cold weather will be approaching soon, and I have always wanted to own a genuine leather jacket. I haven't really been able to find anything I like locally, so I was thinking of looking online for something but I don't really know where to start. Anybody know where I can hunt for a decent...

    when to stop TAD

Fair warning, OJK made me a little dizzy, and I have a massive nicotine tolerance. The stuff is 25% perique, so it is a powerhouse, very tasty, very full and satisfying. Also, be warned that it has the capability of ghosting a pipe since it has so much perique in it. I keep a couple of pounds of...

    when to stop TAD

Smoked great. I love me some Old Joe Krantz. Really high octane, full of nicotine. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the leaf inside, it wasn't even that far aged as I recall, maybe 8, 9 months? Kind of surprising really. Thinking maybe someone at the warehouse just overfilled that...

    Ready to Evacuate

The Midwest needs to pack up some of this f!%&#ing rain and ship it to you guys and California both. We went for a stretch of 27 days straight full of torrential rain. The river in town got so bad that they thought we would have to evacuate but thankfully it never came to that and now it seems...

    when to stop TAD

I've smoked a lot of tins the last few years and I've only had incidents with two of them. One was a tin of Irish Flake that, during the production process, a few flecks of tobacco had gotten into the glue that seals the tin closed, so the tin wasn't sealed air tight all the way. Had it for...

    Source for Kingfisher?

Might have to make your way down to Cuba and smuggle some back on a cigarette boat. In all seriousness, didn't I read somewhere some time back that they were planning on bringing this back or that it was still in production, just in really small quantities? Or am I just losing my mind...

What Tinned McClelland Virginias Do You Guys Like?

OK, a question for all of you guys recommending the McClelland flakes: Do you break them up when you smoke them? And if so, how big of a pain in the ass are they to prep? When I smoke flake I usually prefer mine very broken up, and I have heard that Dark Star is one tough mother to prep. Didn't...
