Need Some Good Mojo for My Girlfriend

The annals of history are filled with prognoses that turn out to be wrong. Let's hope and pray that, in spite of what the doctors have said, she gets better!

PAD, How do you control it?

@photoman: I don't mind the cheap cobs, especially because I'm still experimenting and figuring out what I actually like. That said, thanks for the suggestion!

PAD, How do you control it?

With my limited budget, I focus on cobs and lots of good tobacco. Tobacco is the heart of why I smoke, not fancy pipes. Of course, a fancy pipe would be nice, but when push comes to shove, I focus on tobacco. vinvin, 你好! 欢迎 PM.com!

    My MacArthur and Me

I don't know about yours, but mine has quite a narrow chamber so it really is almost like an optical illusion regarding the size (capacity). Mine really only held about the standard three pinches of tobacco.

    Tobacco Storage

Nah, it's not anything I'm trying to purposefully age. I just realize that the more tins I open the longer it will take me to finish them (perhaps even a year or two) since I'm only a bowl-a-day smoker, and so I was worried about ruining them. Thanks for the feedback!

    Tobacco Storage

Sorry for the thread bump, but I have a question. I have read a bunch of threads and articles about tobacco storage, but they never really talk about one thing: how does routinely opening mason jars affect tobacco? I ask because I love trying new blends, so I have quite a few blends jarred. I...

    3 Tobacco Reviews

Trying a latakia blend really opened my eyes to the beauty of tobacco's natural flavour spectrum. I love latakia, Oriental tobacco as well as some aromatic blends. They all have different tobacco flavours and some are great. My advice is stop looking for non-tobacco flavours and start...

    My First Missouri Corn Cobs!

I think the glazed cobs definitely have a distinct aroma/flavour, but that might be just me. As for the cool smoke, I too haven't found them to be particularly cool, either. Then again, most of my cobs still aren't broken in since I only use 1 cob per blend and don't smoke the same blends each...

    My First Missouri Corn Cobs!

How often you clean your cobs thoroughly really depends on if they are dedicated to a blend. So you got less than 10 smokeable pipes? o.O I remember you said you bought the Country Gent in addition to the grab bag, right? So I counted less than 10.

    Enjoying Squadron Leader

I've got a tin waiting in the wings (pun intended), but I have too many English blends already open that need to be smoked first. Can't wait to try it and hope it lives up to the hype.

    Matches - Brands And Kinds!!!

I used to use Cricket brand pipe matches (sulphur free), which were 4 boxes of 40 for $1, but I'm too lazy to go to the tobacconist to buy some (especially since I have no desire to buy tobacco from them), so I went to a dollar store (Dollarama for the Canadians) and bought some kitchen matches...
