My latest LHS is this "Bancroft". I wasn't able to find anything about this line of pipes, but I'm thinking it must have been one of their older budget lines. Great info, PipeDreamer. I only wish Savinelli had offered one with a straight stem. Here are some from an earlier thread: Merchant Service Bing I actually prefer bent stems like my Savinelli has. It would just be nice to have a choice so I'd have an excuse to buy another one. -

Stupid idea of the day: crowdfund a forum upgrade
The only thing that lacking here is a way to preview before posting. If something goes haywire with an image or a link or text formatting it's like race to get it fixed before the the ten minute time limit. I've missed that limit several times as others have....apparently. Wouldn't it be great...- tuold

I'd say dump the salt, give it another cleaning with pipe cleaners and alcohol, let em rest for a day, then try them out. If you notice and ghosting you can always repeat the salt treatment.- tuold
