This Savinelli has been taunting me at the local antique store for a while now so finally broke down and bought it! I my $35 which I feel is a steal. I've reamed it and now giving it a salt/alcohol soak. In a bit nervous about cleaning the stem and am looking for some help. I've cleaned many a stem, but this one has some red running through it (as you can see in the picture). Where it is green is supposed to be black. In worried that the red will be removed if I soak it in Oxiclean and/or use some fine sand paper and then buffing wheel. Any tips on what I should do?
