List the 3 Things You Would Like to Have

$10,000,000,000, Kandinsky's Composition #14, a healthy young body with my brain in it. But I will settle for what I already have.

    Anyone Else Ride?

They were my daily transportation for 20 years. I have done 3 cross country solo trips on BMWs. Other bikes included a 1964 Norton Scrambler and a 1978 Yamaha 1100. Too old to ride now and no longer licensed.

Love the 2 Cousins cabinets, have 5 of them.

What Drink Goes Best with Pipe Tobacco

My current preference is 2 oz Stoli vodka, juice of 1/2 lemon, 35 drops Al Bea herb (optional), in a tall glass with ice and seltzer.

    Sopranos Sojourn

The one place I would not go is Newark. I had a job there about 40 years ago. People got mugged in broad daylight, downtown. The mayor was so short you could be standing face to face with him and not see him. It happened to me. Probably got a short one because of the budget crisis. I doubt...

    Who uses Chamois?

I use it for making charcoal drawings.

    Cost of Dunhill's in England?

Check James Barber's site. They are a UK tobacconist that goes back to around 1876. Good prices. How good depends on the exchange rate. Last time I checked it was better on Euros than Pounds.

What Do You Carry Your Matches In?

I do not use matches. My wife does, to scratch her ears. Then she throws them back in the box and they will not light.

    Giant Dunhill

Regarding Dunhill, not to be disrespectful, but I wonder if the name was originally Dunghill. They were in the bridle making business, which places them in the stable.

Any Pipe Brands You Avoid, and Why?

The list of what I WOULD buy is much shorter. Lasse Skovgaard or Dunhill. That's it. And I have enough of both.

How to Make Pipe Smoking More Socially Acceptable

Smile at everyone and give out lollipops. Who cares if it is or is not acceptable to someone else. Gee, if you live your life worrying about what people think you don't have a life.

    Twin Peaks Return

I watched the two new episodes. After missing the original, it made no sense. I usually love goofy stuff, but this was boring. Showtime has not had a good series since Shameless. I keep it for the boxing.

    Nose Hairs?

Nose hairs are an important air filter. Especially when sticky.

Does Wall Thickness on a Meerschaum matter ?

Depends on how fast you smoke. Meers tend to smoke a bit hot. If you smoke quickly you will like a thicker wall. But thicker will take longer to break in.

    61 Years of Pipesmoking

Thanks for the great response guys. There is a lot of life on this site. I started smoking cigarillos at age 12. Had trouble coming up with the 25 cents every week, so tried a pipe, liked it more. Yes, Bradley, still driving.
