    Latakia Aromatic

    +1 for Hunting Creek from The Country Squire. Leans more aromatic than English, but I has Latakia in it. It doesn't really have a noticeable flavor to me, just kind of sugary Cavendish scent with some smokiness in the background. It's pretty good, though I wish it were a bit "fuller".

    I wonder if I got a weird batch of it. I like the stuff a lot, enough that I'm going to order more, but it arrived dry as dust and I cannot retrohale it at all because of the harshness. I ordered 2oz bulk from 4noggins, idk if that matters. Is it smoother from a tin?

    I have one cob I dedicated to crooner and aromatics that I don't mind tasting like crooner. All my other pipes get used for everything. I did have to thoroughly clean a pipe that I had smoked several bowls of Squadron Leader in, because it was making everything else taste like squadron leader.

    I've had a few, none pleasant, and several other witnesses around to corroborate. Rarely drink, never done drugs outside of alcohol or tobacco. Wouldn't recommend messing around trying to find it.

    I picked up a Zippo pipe lighter. Not really sure what people are complaining about taste wise. Maybe a hint of fumes (idk, I still don't really *taste* it) on first light but it dissipated very quickly.
