Trying something new, cube cut a couple broken flakes of capstan blue. Seems to change the burn rate, but not noticing it get too hot. Flavorwise, not much different than rubbing it out.- PoplarWight

Crazy Tax on Pipe Tobacco
Wouldn't have thought that about Florida. Thank goodness Alabama hasn't figured out that people still smoke pipes. I think the tax is like 10 cents per 2oz- PoplarWight

It's more that they are good blends in their own right (at least the matches are, can't attest to the OG blends). I find myself reaching for the Match Walnut over my more expensive blends often, it ticks all the boxes. Just makes me wonder why blenders are cranking out 10 slightly different...- PoplarWight

Grassy Virginias
OGS smells strongly of hay. Exactly like the hay in my goat barn to my smeller, whereas capstan and most of the other virginias I've smoked smell more like bread or something. Taste wise, they are very similar. Is this a difference in the leaf or the processing?- PoplarWight
