Thanks, I just updated myself. The surfaces will absorb water to varying extent, depending on the finish. Even pure water can alter the color and texture of unsealed wood. Some do, some don't, depending on the wood, the maker, the stain, the seal, etc. Speaking for myself, I don't think water should be put into contact with the rim or outer surface of a pipe.- pauls456

Stockpiling
Stockpiling gives us the mental comfort of thinking that at least this one thing is under our control in our lives. Anyone Have Extensive Experience with Dermatologists?
Their practice styles vary widely. Some will biopsy every spot, others are more conservative. Some make extensive use of physician's assistants- I would be wary of those. It can be difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.- pauls456

Artisan Spigots?
Former makes absolutely incredible silver spigot pipes. On the more affordable side, Abe Herbaugh makes them occasionally and they look super nice in the images I have seen.
