Amen to that! The accents which I usually enjoy were tough to follow. The subtitles helped a lot

Peaky Blinders…wife and I are making our way through the series…pretty good so far. In a lot of ways it was a better time.

Did I Just Make A Mistake?

Haha! I used to seize these things all the time back when I was in uniform. Although said items always had other residual “stuff” in it. I literally thought that no one ground tobacco in them even though that’s what they are marketed as…just like carburetors scales. Yeah, I would have...

    Under-Appreciated Pipe Brands Redux

I like Stanwell but they’re always priced out of reach at least on the estate market. They must hold their value?

    Under-Appreciated Pipe Brands Redux

I really like the Rossi brand pipes. Good finish and decent smokers for reasonable cost.

    Cornell & Diehl Folklore

Count me in on the camaraderie camp and to learn of course. I was able to get one pound of said tobacco, but there is Such a thing as diminishing returns. I seriously doubt I would pay more than that for future purchases.

    Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake

Bought a pound of it and really enjoy it. Starting to get quite a few of the Latakia blends, and I’m concerned about them loosing Latakia flavor from aging.

    Newbie question about pipe

My routine is to swab the stem like a rifle bore with a pipe cleaner. Then form a loop or fold it in half and swab the bore. Every so often I’ll flush the bowl with warm water. I’m not too concerned about the carbon cake.

Nice Smoke and Change of Pace

I’ve been on English blends and Latakia heavy blends lately, but siince it was about 20 degrees outside my wife relented and let me smoke inside. Knowing that she likeley would not dig the English or Latakia smoke I opted for a pinch of Sutliff Creme Brûlée and a pinch of C&D Chocolate...

    Should I Smoke It?

Very good points about unknown people sticking their fingers and noses in it. It smells really old too. I imagine it’s sat for some time….a dead man’s tobacco that finally got picked up by an antique shop. Tossing it when I get home from work. Thanks fellas
