Taxes/IRS Make Me Want to Blow my Brains Out!

Unfortunately, as the tax forms grow larger and more convoluted, so does the IRS and the rest of the alphabet agencies. Soon you will look back on this as the good old days.

***What Are You Smoking, February 2023?***

Sutliff D40 Vanilla in a Barontini Suprema. This is an excellent smoking pipe, probably the best smoker of all my Oom Pauls. If I look a little tired, it's because I spent four hours playing rock and roll until midnight last night and got to bed at 3 AM. It was a great gig though so I have no...

Relights - Maybe it’s just me

I no longer worry about relights, but I'll dump the ash if the pipe isn't staying lit and there is a thick layer of ash after smoking a good amount of the pack. I've never had any issues with an ashy taste.

You can meet girls meowing like cats any day of the week in Portland. There's even talk of installing litter boxes in restrooms.

Two New Meers From Astas Meerschaum

Indeed. They purposefully darken the rims on some meers. The black rim on my Pioneer meer, for example, was applied and not from smoking.

Two New Meers From Astas Meerschaum

Nice pipes. He sure didn't skimp on the meerschaum dust you asked for! You can do a lot of pipe repairs with that.

    CDs

Scratched CDs are more easily repaired than oxidized pipe stems.

    CDs

Tapes can be easily ruined, but CDs are very durable. Even most major scratches on CDs can be easily repaired by polishing them out with very fine rubbing compound. I've collected a lot of used CDs, many scratched to hell, looking like they were dragged through gravel, and I've been able to get...

***What Are You Smoking, February 2023?***

Granger in my only estate cob, a newly acquired Custom Corn Cob from an auction lot I won. I'm not sure what makes this cob a custom. It looks and smokes like my other MM cobs. I don't see anything special about it.

Hey, drummers are just as important as musicians. ;)

    CDs

Like I said, streaming has it's purpose and benefits. I use Apple Music on my phone for the set lists for all of my bands because it's easier to organize and I can bluetooth it anywhere to listen and practice to. I can also instantly pull up and download any new songs we want to cover. If I want...
