  1. Swampy16

    Before and After

It’s a great product. I put it on all my guns which are largely sxs’s. Just make sure your gun is completely dry. It will trap moisture. It’s great stuff. It took the tar right off the wood.

    Savinelli Spigot

    That’s amazing grain, wow !
  3. Swampy16

    Before and After

    Yup
  4. Swampy16

    Before and After

This is my daily smoker that has no name. It seems to be a well made pipe, possibly a second from Savinelli or Peterson? I think I paid $60 for it. I used Ballistol on the wood and it did an amazing job. I used that then som Flitz on the stem. I was shocked how well the Ballistol worked on the wood.

    Filter Pipes

I have no issues with tongue bite. I’m just trying to learn the difference between each type of pipe I’m attracted to. I did have some toasted gums the first night I smoked my P-Lip but that was likely my fault, maybe. Still not sure I’m in love with it. I’d love to get a fishtail for it but I’m...

You Will Have To Be Patient with Me

Who cares if she’s a nice person. She already made me forget why I’m here.

    Corn Cobs

Is Lucite the plastic stem being referred to? Or is that a fancy well to do pipe masters plastic? Is it actual cheap crap plastic in the Missouri Meerschaum’s? Or is that Lucite also. I guess I’m asking if there’s different plastics?

    Corn Cobs

Jeez, I posted a thread asking about cobbs yesterday and heard nothing but love. I didn’t realize there were haters, real hater haters out there. Dime store toys? That’s hysterical, LMOA. What make are those btw?

    Filter Pipes

If one buys one of these, is it a big deal or big difference to smoke without the filter?

    My Next Pipe

This may be it. Savinelli Roma Rustic 614 Lucite Stem

    My Next Pipe

That’s the one I just bought. I have to get used to the p-lip. I’m looking for something similar with a fishtail. I just found a really nice Savinelli I may jump on it here in the next couple hours. I want a system pipe but can’t find one that grabs me by the beard.

    My Next Pipe

I thinks it’s gonna take some getting used to for me. I just got mine and haven’t seen a real advantage to it, yet.

    My Next Pipe

Nice, i was originally going to get that same pipe with the trumpet bowl but don’t wanna spend $140 right now.

    My Next Pipe

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) I love some input on buying my next pipe. I like my Peterson and that style pipe. I’m not sure if I want a System pipe or regular army mount or Spigot. I’m not 100% sure of the difference but this is what I’m leaning towards.

    This Old Pipe !

    My filthy pipe?

    This Old Pipe !

    My bad !

    This Old Pipe !

EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) So this is my daily smoker. It has no name but it a well made pipe. I think I paid $60 for it. It needs a cleanup real bad and I plan to start tonight. Can anyone tell by the pics if this is a vulcanite stem? How do I get the crud off? I would...

    Any Peterson Fans?

Mine has the silver band. As I researched them, after buying like a knucklehead I realized many are nickel. I was very pleased to see that. Makes me feel special while smoking it. :)
