    This is my newest pipe. It’s a Henley (Stanwell) Blackpool from the late 50’s (from what I can find). I would think the stem is vulcanite and would just like to clean the stem with some isopropyl alcohol before I use it. Would that be an issue? I know not to touch the wood with it. Looks like it...

    Copper Roofing Nail Tampers

    This little screw driver works great. It really opens the air way well on my daily pipe. It gets nasty and cloggs up a bit. This thing just opens it right up. And, when I think to use it as a tamper it works well.

    I’ve never retired a pipe and know better than to do that. That’s just stupid. What would have been the best way to do it? I wouldn’t even touch a pipe like that. Thousands? I think it would have been a Magic Eraser and some carnauba with a terry towel only no?
