    H&H Classic Burley Kake

Had this gifted to me from a fellow pipester and it had a bit of age on it. Loaded in a cob it was a very enjoyable smoke with a nice room note to boot! Definately worth looking into for those of us who are willing.

    Capstand & Three Nuns Gone?!

Confirmed by a mailing from Synjeco on another forum, too.... Randy

New Missouri Meerschaum Corn Cob Pipe

Hey Redbeard - that's a great wake up! What a wonderful gal you have there. I love my cobs, always have! Never had to change anything in my regular manner of packing for one, never thought about it but a good question. For me, a cob is a good solid smoking machine and I hope you enjoy it! Randy

    SG Chocolate Flake

Hasn't made it to "bulk" status for buys here, but I do keep a few tins around and when one is empty I replace it. I was surprised when I first smoked it, as it was a freebie from a friend who insisted I give it a chance. Obviously I ended up liking it enough to still keep some around and that...

    4 Noggins Rocks!!!!

Nothing but good to say about Rich and 4Noggins here! Great service and fast shipping, too. One other thing...is good communication! IF there is a problem you will know, not just get a box and a note (or no note!)like a couple of other vendors. Definately on the "A" list! Randy

Good Coffee and a Good Pipe

Great thread! Early morning it's a dark roast, usually drip but on weekends a press. I have to look into the Aeropress! (thanks!) Evenings is a different matter with an espresso fresh from a Gaggia full auto machine my wife bought me a few years ago. Usually Lavazza Super Crema. Paired up with...

    Sicker Than Hell

Leave the smoking alone till you're better if you can, your recovery is your priority right now. In the meantime my best wishes for good health! Randy

    Connecticut Pipe Smokers

Connecticut member here. Bridgeport area. I tried this once on another forum with no real results. Glad to see you're trying and I'm in. I would suggest some B&M for meets, maybe the Owl Shop in New Haven where one can smoke a pipe or cigar and have a coffee or a drink from the bar. Just an...

Good Coffee and a Good Pipe

Fresh medium or dark roast (depending on mood) from a French press. Dark roast with me for blends with latakia, lighter roast for Va/Per, Va, or Burleys. Man, that's tough to beat, and a little slice of heaven.... Randy

    3 New Pipes

Good looking pipes, and glad you're "back". Wishing you many years of enjoyment! Randy

Here's A Kick in the Teeth...

Though this approach isn't appropriate or accessible for all B&M's, I do know of one tobacconist here in Ct. that has survived by the "expansion" principle, moving the character of the shop to something that will allow it to survive. This shop is the "Owl Shop" tobacconist in New Haven, Ct...

4Noggins Rocks! My Latest Shipment Arrived

Always fun for me to see someone posting that a package arrived, and good to share your excitement! I've got an order coming in from Rich tomorrow I believe. Glad you like the Scottish Blend as I've smoked a few tins of it and always have some around. Please post your reactions to "Jocks", I'd...

    Cooke Bent Bulldog

Wow~ That's a great looking piece of work from JT! As a matter of fact they all are and congrats on a fine acquisition. Though they are spectacular blasts, the best thing about JT's pipes for me is that they smoke wonderfully well and I'm looking forward to your "smoking report" about this...

    My first Rad Davis

Keith - Great looking pipe there! Nice shape, solid blast, and killer stain...but with Rads' pipes the best part is the smoking for sure. First one was an edition put out by Mike G. at Briar Blues and its a top notch pipe in all respects. Rad has a great reputation not only for his work, but for...

    New Members, Introduce Yourself!

Greetings all! Been smoking a pipe since I was about 16, so that's 39 years or so. Worked for a number of shops and grew into repairs, restoration, and making pipes. Recently sold the repair business to make time for a few more things before my time is up. Still doing some restorations for...
