I couldn't smoke this everyday, but I picked up a couple tins of this and really enjoy it, but I never seem to see it discussed or mentioned. Am I the only one that thinks this is pretty good stuff?

I too have been wanting to try it as well. Their firedance flake is probably the best berry flavored tobacco I have smoked and smelled. You get a nice blackberry taste and you can really taste the BBF that it is made out of.

I am not a huge Latakia fan - and SG CF has it in a very small dose - which to my palate is near perfect. There is a faint cocoa taste/scent in the background, but it is by no means an aromatic. Damn do I find this stuff tasty.

I haven't tried tbe SG flake, I have tried GH Bob's Chocolate Flake and your description matches how that tastes exactly. Wonder how similar they are? I enjoy it as well

I love both this and Bob's Chocolate Flake. SG's offering is a maltier, more hot cocoa flavor, while Bob's is almost more like chocolate cake. It's hard to describe, but both are fantastic.

Hasn't made it to "bulk" status for buys here, but I do keep a few tins around and when one is empty I replace it. I was surprised when I first smoked it, as it was a freebie from a friend who insisted I give it a chance. Obviously I ended up liking it enough to still keep some around and that was a few years ago. I expected more chocolate out of it (didn't want that, just expected it) which was why I didn't bother. Glad I tried it, because as was already posted the chocolate is just an accent, as is the latakia which helps carry the chocolate/richness. So, yes...I enjoy it despite my initial reluctance to try it. Very enjoyable when in the mood for it!

It is a very fine tobacco, as almost everything by uncle Sam. It is crreamy. The dark chocolate flavor is very subtle but there is it.
It is somekind similar to the Navy Flake by the same blending house (the last one with the Rum topping).
It has his moments, smoked in his best humity point. Nice for the lovers of the aro's "looking for" some incursion on the LTK side.

Hmm.
Like most humans, I like chocolate. But I don't like most aromatics. So, question is, does a Lat-laced full English fan hazard a tin?
Any other thoughts on which one "delivers"?

If U like the Navy Flake U will most probably like the Chocolate Flake.
It's well worth the chance to try it. In fact, some ppl talks about they don't identify the chocolate in it. It is not a "classical aro", don't be afraid!.
