I am working on a full seven day set of JT Cooke's wonderful pipes. The latest one is a 1/8th bent bulldog. This is my 4th Cooke pipe, so I am more than half way there.
The dimensions:
Pipe Length. 5-3/8"

Bowl Height. 2"

Bowl Depth. 1-5/8"

Tobacco Chamber diameter. 7/8"

Can't wait to get this one. Even though I am calling it a 7 day set, I am not sure that it is accurate since there is no real theme that ties the pipes together other than the maker.

You're faster on the draw than I am. This was already "SOLD" by the time I opened the email notice.
Great blast, great pipe!

Hey Big Van - the one sold last night was a different bulldog. That one was a straight bull dog. This was a bent that was never listed.

Wow! The evenly spaced rings of that briar are amazing! Congrats that will be a superb set once you've got the group completed.

Many thanks for the gracious comments. The one thing I have noticed about JT's pipes is that they always look much better in person than they do in photos. And the tactile feel of them is amazing.
I was sent a PM asking me to post the other three Cooke pipes I have and they are below.

Congratulations on your new pipe. I hope you enjoy them all including the other 3 you will get to complete your 7 day selection.
I only have 1 smooth Cooke in my collection.

Aha,

So now Bob Noble has some competition, eh?? LOL

Bob has a 31 day set of Jim's pipes that he displays at some of the bigger pipe shows. Just amazing works of craftsmanship beyond compare.

I think a lot of collectors will agree that JT Cooke's sandblasted pipes are all museum quality pieces and nothing else out there is even close to being comparable.

Thanks for sharing the photos, they are spectacular.

Wow~

That's a great looking piece of work from JT! As a matter of fact they all are and congrats on a fine acquisition. Though they are spectacular blasts, the best thing about JT's pipes for me is that they smoke wonderfully well and I'm looking forward to your "smoking report" about this piece.

Really a nice group you have there! I've been smoking JT's pipes since the Barry Levin days and it's great to see his work having such a strong following - it's well deserved.

(Can't wait to see what you add to this set)

The next one will be a group 5 black blasted billiard with amber stem. JT is working on that as a commission for me.
A 31 day set? Wow.
