    Replacement Stems?

I would highly recommend Blue Room Briars. Jesse's stems are super comfortable and drilled perfectly! You would have to send the whole pipe. The mortise and tenon would be impossible to get right without both pieces and so would making the fit flush.

    Greetings from Delaware

Welcome from Ohio! Those blends are ALWAYS hard to get. As soon as they drop... they're gone. There are many, many other great blends out there, though. Though both of those unicorns make great blends, they are not far and away better than others out there. Temper your expectations .

The pipe is only 5 1/2" long, right where I like 'em, and the stem work cant be beat. Maybe I'll take a chance.

Sorry, man, but I don't buy the "cooler smoke" thing. At all. At the rat smoke travels through the shank, it's not in there long enough to cool anything. I consider this Pipe Myth #1. I'm more concerned with how the pipe FEELS in the clench.

There are very few pipe shapes / styles I haven't owned and smoked, however, I have never owned (or smoked) Canadian or Lovat, you know, pipes with long shanks and short bits. They always look heavy and unbalanced to me. It's odd, I guess, because I love Billiards. There is a Canadian pipe that...

    How Often?

On work days, I have one in the morning, one on the way to work in the afternoon, and one at night on the way home. On my off days, I'll usually get 4 or 5 bowls in. Pretty much just Virginia.

How Glossy or Shiny Do You Like Your Pipes ?

I will not buy a varnished, lacquered pipe. I have them waxed once a year, which reminds me, they are due now. I'll take them to Jesse at Blue Room Briars because I am the least handy person on the planet and I would undoubtedly ruin them if I did it myself, especially the stems.

Fribourg & Treyer - Cut Blended Plug

It is one of my most deeply cellared blends and an almost daily go to. If you like this one, you HAVE to try Vintage and CVP!

    HELP! Can’t Identify this Pipe

Many pipe manufacturers make pipes for shops. This one is obviously one Savinelli made for the Briar and Bean shop. I've owned several Tinder Box pipes made by many different pipe makers. They aren't usually so obvious, though. Most don't put "made by__" or "__ product ", so you are fortunate...
