Hi Everyone
I'm new to the Piping World. When I say new I mean new like only 3 months lol. And it's great. I just wished I started earlier in my life with it. But I always smoked cigars for many years and I still do occasionally. But smoking pipes is a new beast for me. To me smoking cigars is like a hobby but smoking pipes is like a sport to me lol. It's great. So far I learned a lot from watching YouTube and I know I have a lot more to learn. I watch mutton piper chopper on YouTube thought me a lot. But I'm also learning as I smoke. It came to a point that's all I think about in a day is when I have the time to light my pipe. I'm going crazy because there's so many different blends and brands of tobacco out there to try. I just got in the mail a few days ago is a Boswell pipe and I can't wait to try it out and I'm busting to smoke some Esoterica and Samuel Gawith tobacco but everywhere is sold out. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack lol. But I've been smoking Peterson, G.L. Pease and Cornell & Diehl and they are some great tobacco blends. Well that's it for now. Thanks viewing. Keep your bowls fill and your matches dry.

Welcome to the forum! There is a lot to learn about pipes and tobacco and you will be a little intimidated. But this place is a great place to learn, so ask as many questions as you'd like.

Also, if you put your location in your profile, local B&Ms (brick and mortar) stores can be pointed out to you.

Welcome from Ohio! Those blends are ALWAYS hard to get. As soon as they drop... they're gone. There are many, many other great blends out there, though. Though both of those unicorns make great blends, they are not far and away better than others out there. Temper your expectations .

Here
Hello from Austin, Texas.

I was raised in Baltimore and got into Delaware somewhat regularly.

Rehoboth Beach is awesome.

I worked in Wilmington one day a week for a summer. I seem to remember having great lunch stops at a local joint with a railroad station theme, but I can't recall. That would have been mid-90's...

Hello... I've been living Rehoboth Beach since 1989. A lot has changed here since the mid 90's. It was a lot Quieter back then lol

Welcome from the Cayman Islands! Just got back into pipes myself. I also have a Boswell pipe coming this week and can't wait to try it. I hope you enjoy the forum and pipes to the max!

Greetings from Lancaster, PA.

Boswell pipes are great. I have three pipes, and I think their blends are great. As @tschiraldi stated, the Esoterica and Gawith blends are great but don't limit yourself. I've had 5 of the Esoterica blends (Margate, Pembroke, ASTB, Tilbury, Peacehaven), and none I would seek out again. Personally, I find all of their English blends taste the same. The Virginia blends are also similar. If you come across it, try it. But for the money, way better stuff out there to try. I will admit, I do like the Gawith "essence" blends and ration what I have in stock.
