Nailed it in one.
I have the same search going. I keep waiting for smokingpipes.com to pay me to take this off their hands:

Cut my number of pipes down to two or three. Too much clutter.

This will cause a massive price drop of Savinelli estates, and flood the market with 904s. Maybe even to the point where I can get one.
Find a 1981 pipe I can afford and like.

You and me both! This year is the big one too, nice to commemorate that as well.

I hope to keep finding estates that I can do up and pass on the friends. I really enjoy doing that

Agreed- lets hope for a healthy estate market in 2021!

I hope to expand my smoking experiences with the many unopened blends I have on hand, especially a variety of Virginia/Perique blends that supplement my strong attachment to burley and burley blends of many kinds. I also have a variety of aromatics that I need to discover. It's easier for me to buy a tin or two of something new than to pop a tin that I have owned for years. While doing this, it behooves me to smoke the pipes I own, and develop their smoking potential, rather than buying another pipe, though that is hard.

1. I’d like to find a Peterson from my birth year, 1966, with the “Flaming Sword” hallmark (fat chance).
2. I’d like straight Virginias to stop biting my tongue and get an appreciation for them.
3. I’d like to try some C&D blends, especially Mocha, Golden Days of Yore and Chocolate Cavendish.
4. The British government to stop giving pipe smokers the “Deliverance, squeal piggy squeal” treatment when we buy tobacco. Seriously it’s four times the price I used to pay in America (God bless her and all who dwell in her low tax bosom)
5. Stop buying pipe tools and lighters. It’s developed into a bit of a problem.
Oh, and the peace among men thing I guess and an end to Covid.
