    Your Epitaph

I'm not judging here, but rather curious how others perceive death. Do you really believe that a box or urn with your ashes in it will enable your consciousness, or soul, or whatever, to watch anything that happens after you pass?

    Your Epitaph

Ya, what if nobody stands above your grave?

    Your Epitaph

Same here. Ashes back to the earth. Screw a head stone and grave site nobody will visit and just cost a bunch of money. Here in Texas you can get cremated in a cardboard box for 1200. Done I told mine to throw some out in a random farm field to be toiled back into the soil, throw some out on a...

    Fixed bend but now look!

Lol, I typed out a rather long reply to the OP and addressed some others advice, but, since I've already had a round of bourbon, I just said screw it.. and deleted it all. Just follow what others on HERE have advised. or Smoke your pipe and enjoy! puffy

    RIP David Crosby

Very sad. What a legend. Been a huge CSN fan most of my adult life.

    Cellaring Too Long?

Ya, I guess I'm thinking and refering to the round 2 oz tins with the pull tab lids. Those I can't smell anything from. But the larger round and rectangular tins that have the lids you pop off or unscrew, ya I can smell those sometimes.

    Cellaring Too Long?

You sir have a great smeller! That's extraordinary. You should be one of those people that are paid well because of their acute sense of smell. I can't smell anything from a sealed tin, but I wish I could.

    Cellaring Flake

These are exactly what I use, for all the same reasons. They're perfect for tin'd product. I can't help the OP out much on bulk stuff. Like others have said, cut it down to a more manageable size.

    Old Estate Collection

Exactly. It's an amazing collection. But given how small the pipe world is, he may be the only one who wants to own all those pipes, as a collection. Possibly he contacted SmokingPipes, or they contacted him. He'd be able to sell them off individually without a problem. So sorry this happened.

    My Pipe Is Burning Through

That's too bad, but one of the hazards of the sport. You get to buy another pipe! Before you decide to chunk it, cut it in half lengthwise with a bandsaw, lets see a cross section of the bowl and shank ... just for shits and grins :)

    Unsubscribed

Not all YouTubers are like what you saw @cosmicfolklore I watch a lot of YouTube, but the only pipe related stuff I watch is restoration or repair video's from only a few people. I enjoy watching all kinds of restoration videos. From pocket watches to caterpillar bulldozers. There's a lot of...

    Big Change For Me

I kinda had the same thing happen, but it was a gradual thing. I still enjoy Lat in a medium english blend, but I can't tolerate a heavy Lat blend anymore. I always thought this was a very weird thing to happen. Still do. Just doesn't really make since, but we roll with it anyway. Enjoy whatever...

    pipe purchase

You didn't really tell us anything about the condition of the pipe. Has it been refurbished? On a basic level, I'd ask the seller: Does the bowl have any burn outs or cracks? Does it smell like perfume or grandma's underwear? Are there any bite holes on the stem, or any evidence of a broken...

    RIP Robbie Knievel

He was more talented than his dad IMO. I was fortunate to see Evil Knievel jump in the Astrodome in 1971 with my Dad... good memories.

Disagreements about how moist tobacco should be

Ya, I don't find that there are disagreements on this, rather varying opinions based on what works for each individual. Like everyone else said and like with everything about this hobby it's all based on individual preferences and tastes.

    Ruminations on Pixie Dust

From my understanding, it takes some serious effort, dedication and focus, on happy thoughts ...
