    Ennerdale Flake?

I want to like it. It smells really good. I keep revisiting it, and everytime I do I end up dumping the bowl. I do like it in smaller doses. Good luck though!

    Smoker’s Pride

The one's that aren't aromatic are RYO cigarettes. By calling it pipe tobacco they avoid restrictions on cigarettes. You could smoke it in a pipe but it smokes like crap in a pipe and taste like a cigarette. And this applies to almost all in that form of packing such as; American Club, Bacco...

The Oldest Tamper in the World.

    Yeah we'll go with that.

The Oldest Tamper in the World.

Cool piece of history what ever it is. But according to things I've read, no Tamper is older than the 17th century. I'm sure before tampers they did use sticks, their finger, and whatever else.

    Does anyone recognize this insignia?

I have a Savinelli thats not marked as one. It's the 613 made for a store in Germany and has the store stamped on it instead of Sav. Post the whole pipe and maybe someone will recognise it.

    Meerschaum pipes

Easy I see how to color a Meer faster come up all the time. I think just let it happen naturally and not rush the process. Just my opinion though to each their own.

    Staining a Pipe 2/13/24

Beautiful job. I was wondering if that would fix it. I dont have a buffer, carnauba wax, or white diamond yet but I will soon.

    Staining a Pipe 2/13/24

I tried sanding in the same direction. Or do you mean its just how the briar block was?

    Staining a Pipe 2/13/24

So I sanded this old estate pipe and stained it with Fiebings Medium Brown leather dye. As you can see, one side looks completely different. I've stained several pipes successfully so I'm not sure what I've done wrong. I tried using a more aggressive grit on the dull side then a wire brush...

    Thoughts on Retrohailing a Cigar…

I used to do it every puff but after decades of Nicaraguan pepper bombs I now get nose bleeds if I over do it. Definitely more flavor though.

    Opening a Lucite Stem

I've heard you can open it and even fix a whistle with a very tiny diamond file. Rub it in and out once and test the draw . Disclaimer; I've never done it, and I have no idea how dangerous it is. Maybe someone here has.
