Suggestions on repair on my meerschaum.

I used it on one that was plastic and it still worked but I used a hair dryer and was really careful.

Suggestions on repair on my meerschaum.

Chasing Embers just told me how to fix this and it worked out great. I heated the stem very carefully with a hair dryer, and pushed the threads into the stem just a tiny bit. So little that I didn't even know it moved. You can also buy new threads.

    Not Tasting Anything

Assuming you aren't sick and that's why you can't taste, slow down and load the pipe looser. If you're using a filter you can smoke without it.

    Info on Cherrywood Pipes?

Why do you want a cherry pipe? Briar is better. They used to make most pipes outta cherry. You could probably do a little research and find a cherry pipe cheap on Ebay or Etsy. Be careful though cherry wood is deceptive. Cherry could be the color, the shape, or the wood. Also here here where...

Buying Multiples of the Same Pipe

I liked the Dr. Grabow Freehand so much I have 2 in different finishes. For now that's the only duplicate I have. I don't see myself buying the same pipe with the same finish though.

What Rotary Tool to Buy? 2/1/24

How low RPM do you work when doing rustication? I don't have an outlet in my work place so I need to get something cordless.

What Rotary Tool to Buy? 2/1/24

I want to buy a rotary to buff, and rusticate. The plan is to buy very cheap beat up briar estate pipes and fix them, then customize them to my own liking. Question is; for what I'm doing, what speed rotary should I buy? Is 1200 rpms too little or is 35000 too much? Thanks

    Puffing like Dirty Harry

The tobacco will have more flavor if you sip. But, it's all about how you enjoy it. If you're able to freight train it with out tongue bite and it makes you happy then do it your way. I did that at the beginning fearing it would go out and being a primary cigarette smoker. Over time I...

City Club Pipes... Any info at all is appreciated

I saw a listing where a can sold, and the manufacturer was stated as "Burley Tobacco Company". It also sold in auction more than once with a can of "Stag". Possible they made both. Maybe that can get the ball rolling for you.
