    Researching My Caminetto

I hope it all turns out in your favor. Regardless of where it lands on their grade spectrum, that is a sexy pipe.

    Question re: Unopened Tobacco.

Good info on the tobacco, a bit thin on the pipes. If they are "everyday" pipes or whatever you label them, lower end, it would probably be best to list them as a lot on ebay. If there are some nicer pipes or higher grade pipes, Steve would be an option or you could do the ebay thing yourself...

Who Can Repair a Chipped Stem?

No "Pro" will do that repair. They will do a replacement stem for you. It seems this point has been missed in this discussion. That is why original mint pipes are worth more, there are no replacement parts for pipes.

Using Alcohol and Cotton Balls on Meerschaum

Perhaps it takes a dozen or so wipes or treatments? Maybe the wives tale is partly true?

    Can a Barling Expert Confirm?

So you are telling me that instead of chasing a Dunhill birth year I could have been chasing a Barling birth year? What is this sorcery?!?!?!

    Estate Pipes

If you know your stuff or even kind of know your stuff, ebay or dealing with the owner directly is the ticket. I have always gotten the best deals, the most variety, etc., this way. The vendors take the risk out of it for you as you get a decent idea of what you are buying most times. You pay...

Looking for an EMPTY tin of Butera Kingfisher

My group of college friends had a can collector, American Beer or some nonsense, He sold it for six figures recently. It might be just a rumor as nobody seems to know for sure and doesn't want to ask. You just never know these days.

    Ultrasonic Cleaner

I have a large one I use for glass. I never put my pipe stems in there but that is just me. The glass cleaning works great, wife uses it on her jewelry, and is happy with the results.

    Pipe repair recommendations?

Don't forget to mention the time the repairman needs to fix the pipe. Lots of thought and planning, or so I am told. Cost and quality of the repair is also important as they go hand in hand.

    Dr Grabow Bent Adjustomatic Missing

I put this together over the years on a whim. The Criteria, must be an adjustomatic, must be unsmoked or immaculate when I acquire, no metal ferrules or visible metal, smooth outer bowl. It has also morphed into a straight and bent 5v5. As you can see, I am missing one bent pipe to complete...

    What the Hell is This?!

Most likely safe. You can hack a pipe out of most trees, like your ancestors did in the forest. They had much shorter lives fyi. :ROFLMAO: Any reason you are attached to it?

    Need Recommendations

Edward G Robinson and then Plum Pudding worked great for me. After enjoying those two blends for a month or so, I was off to the races and could enjoy just about any English I smoked. (my experience only). English is just part of the rotation now. Red VA still my first choice most days, but...
