    Meer Shank Crack

Here is a great example from the other Meerschaum thread repair. One customer happy and one not. The one cost fits all works great on less expensive pipes but not so much on a collector pipe.

    Is 0% Oxidation Possible?

It is and always will be an ongoing issue and debate. :) Old Thread

    Tim West Meerchaum Stem Repair

"After all it's not a pipe with a replacement stem, it's a pipe with a George Dibos stem, thats an upgrade. It's like a Yenco Camaro, it didn't roll out of the factory that way, but it's damn sure worth more that way.: 👍👍👍 A unicorn for some of us.

    Astleys 44 & 109 - Production Foulup?

I cellar and smoked both of these from 10 years ago. In your picture, they are indeed flip flopped when I open one of those tins. 44 is dark and 109 is what I call Golden. Cosmic will echo this as well. :)

    Tim West Meerchaum Stem Repair

FYI hoosier, Tim fixed a pipe for me that an almost identical mishap took place. I didn't realize there were 2 types of "repairs" out there at the time. Man, that was like 10 years ago.

    Tim West Meerchaum Stem Repair

There ya go. I am in the process of trying to switch to the tradesman mentality. When you learn in the back of a B&M, you get the one size fits all for one price. :)

    Tim West Meerchaum Stem Repair

I had an interesting conversation with georged a month ago or so ago. he can explain it better of course, but the problem is the lack of quality repair that is out there. My work is laughable compared to george, I am a beginer, but I still am bombarded with work. The first repair looks like...

THE Chicago Pipe Show — Battle of the Briar, Pt 1

It is a shame that block #2 wasn't in the #1 slot. :) Amazing to me that they all finished a pipe of that grade in an hour.

How To Repair a Crack In An Acrylic Stem?

Spit balling here but what about that glue they use for countertops. It is like water and seeps down into those cracks. Most people will say super glue but without a noticeable crack, I am not sure how you get the glue inside.

Hello. I Need to Chill Out.

I am the other guy and it often doesn't go over well either. Just keep smoking your pipes and tobaccos, while discussing the reasons why you do. You will fit in fine. I always giggle a little bit inside when someone says be yourself. If you only knew the shit show that would bring down on me...

Thoughts and Tips for Blind Pipe Smokers

For my reading pleasure, The other thread is better. The guy got what he needed, we met some more blind smokers, and the other nitwits learned something.

Interesting MM Corn Cob - 'Original'

I thought for sure the inner bowl would be junk when I saw the outside. Inner bowl looks as good as any of mine that are smoked. Crazy pipe find. Thanks all, good discussion.

Interesting MM Corn Cob - 'Original'

Any help on age, original or not on the bamboo, value? Thanks. Is that normal patina on the outer bowl? Looks really neat in person.
