I am still not convinced whether you can ghost a meer. If I remember correctly, @Chasing Embers states that you can ghost a meer. I have been trying to ghost a skull meer with Deer Tongue, having smoked mainly Gentleman Caller in that pipe and I am now on my third tin. Every so often I smoke a Virginia blend in the pipe to test it and still don't taste the ghost, but then I have the palate of a goat, so who knows. Just sayin...

I smoke Ennerdale occasionally in my meers and don’t get any ghosting. YMMV.

I suspect that with well sauced Lakeland blends if you consistently smoked them in a meer you could build up a ghost but so far I’ve never crossed that line.

Nice pipe for sure,

I've been thinking about buy a meerschaum also just to see the difference.

I may miss the taste that the briar lends to the smoke.

Hope you enjoy it!

You'll be able to smell them on the outside of the stummel as well.
