    Obsidian Pipe?

When I read the title of this post I thought this pipe would be better suited for that other smoking leaf, better represented at a head shop.

    eBay Purchase: My First Kaywoodie!

I recently picked up two Kaywoodies and, after cleaning etc. I am very impressed with these old timers. My battery is dead on my camera so no pics. One is a 33 shape meerschaum lined, the other a 7706 Dublin with the logo on the top of the stem.

Smokemaster Stem Screws in a Little Too Far

I've had good results correcting twisted stems on Kaywoodies using a heat gun on a low setting and gently heating the end around the stinger (do not overheat just go slow), then while holding the stinger (plyers or vice) gently twist the stem back slightly. Any Regrets About The One That Got Away?

About a week ago I might have gotten this one. I was going to bid a tad over $300 and it sold for $260. I may have gotten it or I may have underbid anyway. But I didn't pull the trigger, so I've been having some angst about letting this one get away. It's a caliper grade Ruthenberg.

Ever Bought a Pipe You Regret?

I've mostly been very lucky. Exceptions include a GBD Prehistoric pos, a meerschaum that looked like a LVC and turned out to be cheap block meerschaum with a junk stem. And one of my early buys was a Ser Jacopo that smokes great, but it weighs in at over 90 grams, and as a clencher it just...

My sometimers kicked in today and I nearly forgot about the Gaslight at 4Noggins today. I didn't get the amount I wanted, but I snagged the last three tins. Added a pound of NiteCap and some cleaning supplies for the free shipping.
