What Does Your Scene Look Like?

It was sad for the firsties, winning every year except their last. Hopefully we dont slip back into a 15 year loss again but we shall see next year. Thank you for the support, one more year of the suck and then it's a whole separate ball game.

    From Massachusetts to Virginia

These points were almost the exact points that I addressed in my letters to my state senator and representative. We’ll see what happens.

    From Massachusetts to Virginia

Virginia now has a proposed House Bill (HB93) mimicking that of Massachusetts: the sale or distribution of flavored tobacco products prohibited; civil penalty. Prohibits the sale or distribution of flavored tobacco products, defined in the bill, and creates a civil penalty of $1,000 for a first...

What Does Your Scene Look Like?

Thank you for your support. As to the honorific of "Sir" I have not yet earned the title since I have not received my commission so it is neither expected nor deserved but thank you for asking. And my avatar is indeed Gen. Patton.

    The (Un)Official Secret Santa 2019!

Mine was sent a few days ago. Had to use a misleading large box because all the medium boxes were taken. Sorry to my disappointed victim.

What Does Your Scene Look Like?

Indeed. One of the best views in my opinion.

    Capstan Ruined Me

I understand the feeling. Recently started smoking Ashton Artisans Blend and I cant get enough of it. But as @jaytex969 said. You'll find blends that you can't get enough of will slowly start to be incorporated into the larger rotation.

    Stubby

I have a short poker from Morgan's line. Its a great little pipe, real workhorse. It's also great to see them color in with the oils from your hands. Should make the drives more interesting checking on the progress.

***What Are You Smoking? December 2019.***

Just finished two bowls. First was Ashtons Artisan Blend in an original Moonshine Pipe Co. Sandblasted Canadian. Second was some Rattrays Professional Mixture in a Chacom Sandblasted Churchill 863

    All Day Blend?

I can't get the voice out of my head now... Thanks It also gives me a deep envy that you had the foresight to stock up on enough Christmas Cheer to call it an all day blend. RIP

    All Day Blend?

Jim always ends his blend reviews with the repeat-ability of every blend. I'm curious to know what everybody's all day blends are. Other than the obvious Carter Hall and other such OTC blends.

    Some Notes On Dunbar

In descending order: Savinelli Peterson Moonshine The moonshine is so narrow I have to pack with my pinky, but as one forum member was keen to point out, I do have ogre hands.

    Some Notes On Dunbar

I think the difference for me was the ghosting of the Peterson mostly along with the differences in bowl diameter.

    Some Notes On Dunbar

I'll keep that in mind for tomorrow. I do indeed think I overdid the drying. Usually I can leave a bowlful out overnight, but it was pretty dry last night so you may be right.

Brand New Pipe Show in Upstate NY (Saturday November 16th)

I was sad to have missed this being only an hour away. Hopefully you do it again some time soon so I can make my way up there.
