Here are my two Missouri Meerschaum Cobs. One is a straight Country Gentleman (there’s a joke in there somewhere) and the other is the Cornell and Diehl Carolina Gent. Both great smokers and low maintenance. The only thing I did not like was having to char down the stem in the bowl. Now they are...
So I bought two Randy Wiley Pipes from my B&M and wanted to see if anyone else had any of these beauties! I love the way they look and the way the finish feels on my hands and they are great smokers too! I plan on posting a detailed review in the near future.
Sound off with your Wiley!
Both are...
The screenshot I attached is the actual pipe I purchased. I just don’t have the link with all the other photos. I will post the pictures of it as soon as I can.
When I get home I will add a picture of my actual pipe. All it says on one side is Peterson “Sports” and the other side says Made in the Republic of Ireland. I found other pipes that have the same shape listed as prince shapes.
Hope that clarifies it.
I think we may be misreading my question. I know what the pipe is and who makes it and that it was made in the Republic of Ireland. I want to know the year it was made so I can get an idea if it is no longer produced/unobtainable or if it is a fairly recent model. Full disclaimer, that is not...
I purchased pipe accesories on etsy but no pipes. A seller by the name of Womman makes an excellent quality pipe roll. I think I got my six pipe stand from there as well. Great site and great sellers!
Hello,
I recently purchased a Peterson Sports Prince pipe from ebay and I am having a hard time finding out information on the era this was made. I checked the Peterson Pipe Notes site and there is no information available on it. Does anyone here have a similar pipe to this one and do you know...
I am fairly new so take it for what is is worth. What threw my taste/smell buds into overdrive was smoking a mellow vanilla aromatic and studying that for a bit. A few hours later I smoked Pirate Kake which is a heavy latakia blend and studying that for a bit and comparing the taste/smell and...
I enjoyed a bowl at my B&M and loved it. I bought a tin and now 4-5 bowls later, I still enjoy it. Ginger comes to me on the retrohale and the orange mellows out as you work through the bowl. I am cooking a late dinner and after I plan on smoking another bowl of this. I suggest you try it and if...
I will be having two blends tomorrow, if all goes well. First off, A pre-dinner Aperitif and then after dinner, a toss up between Molto Dolce and Jolly Old Saint Nicholas. Things may change but it is great to have choices!
That looks like a total burn out from here! I will do you the favor of taking it off your hands for $5 shipped. Just kidding, I have no idea what it is but that is a cool pipe. Reminds me of a female WWF/WWE wrestler, you know, pretty but rugged!
I just purchased a pipe from a forum fellow and he said it had light stamping. I had my doubts but I wanted a Peterson straight pipe so I jumped on it. It is a great smoker and has many years of life left. So my extensive experience of one pipe, does not confirm your suspicions of stamp quality...
