    Half & Half Fans?

Just another OTC, I don't hear about it as much as some of the others, but I've always been a fan, except the big tin I have. I had bought a couple pouches years ago, and LOVED it, not at first, but upon revisiting it it totally hit the spot, it had this flavourful sweetness to it. I kept...

Tobacco Recommendations To Replace Frog Morton Cellar

That's not what I wanted to hear lol Damn, you'd think they could sell the blend rights or however that works to a different company, seeing as there is such a longing from so many people for FMC, kind of like what happened to 3 Nuns and Capstan, if I'm not mistaken.

Tobacco Recommendations To Replace Frog Morton Cellar

You're right, just searched it, I guess I wasn't the only one who found 100% contentment and satisfaction with FMC. I didn't realize it had become such a cult classic, I've been off these forums for a long time. If I had known McClellands was going to pack it in, I would have stocked up. After...

Tobacco Recommendations To Replace Frog Morton Cellar

Well, I've officially smoked the last of my stock of McClellands Frog Morton Cellar, my all time favourite tobacco, I wouldn't change a thing about it. Unfortunately, they are no more. Has any fans of Cellar found or know of a tobacco that is similar in taste that would be available from...

    Frog Morton's Cellar Comparable Suggestions

Well theres some good suggestions here. I think to start, after I run out I will try mixing some stuff I already have, not to get that FMC taste cause I'm seeing how difficult that will be, but maybe to get something that pulled me in with FMC, which was the fact that it was a Latakia blend...

What Happened With The Father The Flame Documentary?

I searched the site and can't find anything recent on this documentary I that was teased several years ago already. I saw a thread talking about it being shown at a festival a year ago or something, will this ever be available for anyone to watch or buy? Seems silly if all the hype only...

    Frog Morton's Cellar Comparable Suggestions

Some good suggestions here, I'm trying to narrow down on one to try first. I emailed Smokingpipes and they responded with two suggestions...

    Frog Morton's Cellar Comparable Suggestions

No that's not mean, I get what you're saying but I've probably averaged 1-2 tins a year at the rate I smoke, so I'm not into a bunch of trial and error, because if I try a blend I don't like them I'm stuck with it for up to a year.

    Frog Morton's Cellar Comparable Suggestions

Since McLelland is no more, and Frog Morton's Cellar was my favourite tobacco (maybe aside from a bulk blend I once had that I have no clue what it was called unfortunately) and unfortunately I only have one tin left which I've opened. Does anyone have any comparable suggestions to Cellar?

    Pacquio vs Mayweather

I hope this fight brings good publicity to the sport of boxing as well. I'm 24 years old, most guys my age are obsessed with MMA and I quite literally cannot force myself to watch it. Boxing is very enjoyable to me. My favourite fight(s) of all time still (not that I've actually watched too...

    Budget Pipes?

Cobs, Missouri Meerschaum are the only cobs i've used and they're always great. Dr. Grabow and Medico are decent cheap pipes.

    The Art of Smoking Virginias

Thanks for all the great information and tips everyone, it was just what I was looking for. I think I'm really going to tackle this Virginia beast with a lot of patience. I need to learn to smoke slower anyway, maybe this will force me to.

If you can only choose one brand, which one would be?

I would have to stick with Brigham, my Brigham pipes have served me better than my others so far. I do not own a Peterson, but they have always by a long shot been the nicest looking pipes I've seen. Bought my brother a Peterson 314 in May for being my best man, I was tempted to keep it and...

Codger Blend Extravaganza coming my way!

I love half and half, in fact I personally much prefer it to PA and SWR, hope you enjoy.

    The Art of Smoking Virginias

Someone once told me that your palate can either distinguish the beauty of a virginia or it can not. I long to enjoy virginias, the aroma is beautiful. Everytime I smell my Orlik Golden Sliced flake tobacco I get confused as to why I can't get any flavour out of it other than burnt paper...

    Brigham Pipes

I have 11 pipes and my two best smokers are both Brighams. I have a Italian made 2 dot algonquin (247) which is great, and I have an old Canadian made one dot apple shape, which is by far my best smoker, its amazing how it smokes considerably better than anything else I have. I love it...

4noggins kicks but, SP is good too but tends to get dinged for duties more for some people.

    Anyone Heard from Mike Phillips?

Thats saddening, I hope nothing happened. Maybe he just moved on.

    Bye, Bye P & C

My days with P&C are done as well, mostly because I couldn't order from them if I tried since I'm in Canada, but I love the service from SP and 4Noggins so much that I don't really have reason to even look at P&C anymore, besides lusting after bjarne pipes.

    I'm An IDIOT

Out of habit I call it LOT-a-keeya, whether its 'right' or 'wrong.' Texans and Saskatchewanians pronounce many words differently, it doesn't mean its wrong.
