Five brothers, carter hall, half&half and 4oz of Prince Albert. Plus a couple of more refined lat-blends i've been meaning to try.

Now i'm thinking I should have ordered some SWR, but i wanted to keep the order below 15 oz because according to my spanish pipeclub buddies that's as much as you can get away with without customs interfering, and even then its not guaranteed.
Can't wait for this order to come and start happily puffin' away on my cobs!

I applaud your codger investigation. I haven't yet bothered with HalfnHalf, but I regularly smoke PA,CH,and SWR.

Pretty sure you'll like at least one of the standards enough to get MORE.

I ordered it because i've heard or read it mentioned quite a few times and I thought i'd add it to the list. After placing the order I started reading a little more in depth about 5Bs and i'm starting to seriously regret not having ordered SWR in lieu.
Oh well, too late now!
I've a healthy respect for Vitamin N but I'm a smoker of 15 years and i smoke cigs, pipes and cigars and i do some snuff as well, so it shouldn't quite make me queasy. I'll be sure to try it in one of my tiny cobs (MM Short Stops, how i LOVE these minute things for a quick smoke) and sitting down the first time though.

Five Brothers arrives dry, stays dry, and stores forever, so don't get all excited and start trying to moisten it. It's fine.

It will be here at the end of the world, in case there are any aliens who visit the Earth and smoke pipes.

Nice! I'm not very knowledgeable on codger blends, but as for the lat-blends, you should also try the 3 Oaks Syrian.

I was actually split between the standard 3oaks n the Syrian and I'm not sure what pushed me towards this one... Oh well it'll be on the next order, around January. Thanks for the recommendation!

I love half and half, in fact I personally much prefer it to PA and SWR, hope you enjoy.

Haha. Sí. Nacido y criado en la isla. I agree, it's rather uncommon to see spanish speaking pipe smokers in the forums, or in general for that matter. Spanish is my first language and I've noticed that when I'm talking pipes with a friend, my pipe-related vocabulary is in english. For starters, calling the bowl "cazoleta", the shank "cánula", etc. just feels weird (mainly because they're not common everyday words to begin with). But back to the tobaccos, in the rare case you're not too keen on the ketchupy McClelland Virginias, Mac Baren's HH Vintage Syrian is also a nice option.

I use Five Brothers as a blender. Alone it is a but much for me, but it is a good quality pipe tobacco. You will not be disappointed, it was, and is, a wise purchase.
