Mixture 79 VS Half and Half

For whatever its worth, I like Half & Half but find the pouch and the tub considerably different, Ive loved the pouches in the past, so tasty, but the tub ive had for a few years is hard to get flavour out of, ive never loved it like I did from the pouch.

High-End Pipes - Do They Improve the Smoking Experience?

I think if you live the pipe and enjoy it then it's worth it, even if it doesn't smoke better.

    Help My Cob Is Cracked

I was gonna say 'nothing a little JB Weld won't fix' but a new cob is probably cheaper than JB or E6000

Mixture 79 VS Half and Half

I have bought Half & Half pouches in the past and loved it, so much that I bought a tub, the tub had not agreed with me, burns me and tastes like ash. I'm about to throw it out now after several years, I'm ordering a pouch soon as well as a pouch of CH which I've never tried. I always say I'm...

    Ideal Lighting for Pipes

I go back and forth, I like matches, usually wood when smoking in my shop, outside my pipe zippy or a bic.

Do You Keep Certain Pipes For Certain Types of Tobacco?

Good point. I don't smoke Aros or Virginia, just Latakia type English blends and some OTC burley stuff. I did smoke a tin of i think Brebbia several years ago that was VERY heavy Latakia, kind of smelled like I was smoking a boot, but it grew on me and I loved it, but usually I don't smoke...

    Lost My Favourite Pipe...

I'm already thinking a new brigham or maybe an estate peterson/sav, I think ill go for a straight pot/billiard style. Peterson 606 straight pot is awesome, little out of my price range though, Brigham 2 dot billiard is peak for what I think I'm willing to spend but its so iconic and my other two...

What Are The Non Aesthetic Differences In The Brigham Line

Thinking of buying a new pipe as my main went missing, my other two most used ones are both Brighams and I really like them. One of them is a Algonquin 2 dot curved, its a model they still make, the other is one I bought used, its from when they were still made in Canada, its a one dot apple...

    Lost My Favourite Pipe...

Haha, never thought about it, the name is pronounced "Law-sit" (Norwegian) so it didn't cross my mind!

Do You Keep Certain Pipes For Certain Types of Tobacco?

Been covered lots im sure, but for the heck of discussion... I pretty well only smoke 'english' blends with Latakia other than Half & Half, and i usually smoke H&H in a couple different pipes than my main ones i smoke the latakia with, mostly because Latakia seems to leave a strong scent in the...

    Lost My Favourite Pipe...

I have a toddler, I have a fear that I left it accessible and he dumped it in the garbage can, because he loves playing with the garbage can and ive caught him playing with a different pipe of mine i left out once. I hope that's not the case but it could be.

    Lost My Favourite Pipe...

Well, I've been very frustrated this last while. I go through phases with smoking pipes, im in one now for the first time in a while, and sometime during the last couple months, my favourite, at least one of my favourites, and certainly my main smoker went missing. I have checked everywhere it...

Any Old Timers Here Smoked Old Chum?

One of my uncles started with Old Chum back in the day, id assume 60's? Until they stopped making it, then he switched to other kinds. Sounded interesting, couldn't find much on it, i think it was probably an OTC. Anyone familiar?

    Half & Half Fans?

** When I smoke it, I often roll it, ill go months without having any. I actually often roll my pipe tobaccos, kind of like having a mini cigar.

    Half & Half Fans?

    I roll it very often.

    Half & Half Fans?

How long do you keep that tub before it's too 'old' or dried, or before you jar it?
