that's an early handcarved..I managed to find this on a stoop sale yesterday for $20. All the Bjarne pipes I see available online seem a bit more mass produced looking. Does anyone know if this has some age to it?

nice one!
Stem is acrylic, no?
I haven't seen a Bjarn for 20 years, but the brick and mortar tobacconist I started my pipe smoking at had a number and they were popular. They were all unique looking, (un)like yours.I managed to find this on a stoop sale yesterday for $20. All the Bjarne pipes I see available online seem a bit more mass produced looking.
