I have a similar one myself. That's their freehand style, which were more popular back in the day. Not sure what time period. Looks in good shape. Mine has a vulcanite stem that needed a good refurbish. They smoke excellent, although I prefer lighter smaller pipes usually.

I also got mine for less than 20$, but mine has a crack in it that doesn't affect smoking. Was definitely a well loved pipe. Mostly an art piece now, but I've had many a good smoke from it.

I managed to find this on a stoop sale yesterday for $20. All the Bjarne pipes I see available online seem a bit more mass produced looking. Does anyone know if this has some age to it?

I haven't seen a Bjarn for 20 years, but the brick and mortar tobacconist I started my pipe smoking at had a number and they were popular. They were all unique looking, (un)like yours.
