    Happy 75th Eric Clapton!

I saw Eric Clapton back in 2006 in Orlando. He had Doyle Bramhall & Derek Trucks backing him up on stage with their, also, unbelievable guitar playing. Robert Cray was the opening act, which also came onstage with Eric, Doyle, & Derek for a few songs. It was like blues, slide guitar sensory...

So...Anyone Out of Toilet Paper Yet?

I usually keep a healthy stock of TP anyway. I hate shopping so I stock up on regular consumables when I do shop. I’ve yet to buy any TP over the last month but I’m now keeping a close eye on my consumption rate. Haven’t seen any in the stores the last few times I ventured out. On a positive...

    Pipe Smokers/HAM Radio Enthusiasts

Currently studying for my General since we’re all stuck at home. Nothing on TV I want to watch during the day anyway. And I can’t clean the garage out anymore than I already have. That would mean throwing stuff out!

Fun Movies While Practicing Social Distancing

I watched Destination Tokyo with Cary Grant. Fantastic submarine movie. And better yet, I watched Operation Petticoat the same evening. Another great submarine movie with Cary Grant.

    Epic Box Pass 2020. 12-20-2019

Sorry fellas...I’m out too. Please remove me from the list. The risk vs reward isn’t too appealing to me right now. No offense to anyone but there’s some pretty bad shit going around.

How Many Touch Type To Post?

Touch type here. Self taught. My older brother took typing In high school and scared with the suck factor of the class. I avoided taking it. I just started typing comfortably and became quite fast. Type writers were dying out and computers were becoming more prevalent when I went off to college...

    COVID 19 and Work...

I work for a professional basketball team. We’re on indefinite work from home policy until the commissioner fires the league back up. I’ve now switched gears to being a kindergarten teacher as my son is out of school for at least a month. I’m thankful we’re getting paid as usual but I’m about to...

Welcome! Glad you’re here. 1-Q is a good place to start. Don’t tell anyone but I like to dabble in 1-Q every once in a while.

    Restaining Question

Wouldn't hurt to take the precaustion of using blue tape. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing. What's the worst that could happen if you don't use the tape. I don't know but are you willing to find out? Blue tape is cheap.

    Peterson Spigot

I’ve got at least a dozen Petersons and enjoy them all. Sure, you can find nicer pipes with fewer flaws but mine work for me. If they’re not up to your standard, you’ve got the right to bitch. With that said, I’m definitely looking forward to seeing what positive effects the smoking pipes folks...

    Bulk Tobacco Mold?

Thank you all for your input. Haven’t seen this in any of my bulk jars. Since none of the others had this, I was naturally concerned. All of them are jars of Virginia flakes with about 4 years on them. They are mouth watering when you stick your nose in the jar. I’ll probably start working on...
