Hahaha (just now seeing this) thank you my friend, you are right this thread is right up my alley.

I rarely smoke one pipe at a time, if I just post one pic or list one tobacco in the WAYS thread than I’m just being lazy but I’m a habitual “double fister”. Sometimes I’ll go for 4-5 pipes at a time and just rotate through them but that’s a rarity these days as I never have that kind of time on my hands anymore. I usually prefer a pipe loaded with a lat blend and anything else I’m in the mood for. For me, the contrast in flavors really pop when ya switchover. I’ll smoke one pipe for a few minutes then just go back and forth between the two (or 5).
I got this idear from an article in P&T magazine (rip) and once I tried it, I never went back, I think it was written by Tad Gage if I remember correctly but I may be mistaken. I can look pretty silly out in public walking my dogs but I’ve turned it into an art so to speak.

Btw, I hope you are doing well @tfdickson? Are you still enjoying St. Bernard Flake? (Still haven’t broke into my stash yet). I think I’m afraid to fall in love with a new blend... the last thing my cellar needs is another blend lol.

No I haven't but I often make mini-blends by mixing non-aro's with an aromatic - I'm smoking one atm; an English mixed 50/50 with an aromatic [Old College/Mark Twain] in an MM Legend. Very tasty :)
