    If Money Were No Obstacle....

For me, Todd Johnson, Doctor's, Alex Florov, Tokutomi, & Gotoh (in no particular order) all make pretty expensive pipes I'd love to own.

2 New Doug Finlay Pipes On Their Way!

Congratulations - I had the Cobra in my basket, but you beat me to the punch. I hope it smokes great for you!

    Early Morning Pipe or Nightcap?

Not a fan of Latakia on the whole, but the Charatan replacement for EMP (First Bowl I think it's called) is actually pretty good & available in the UK. I hated Royal Yacht when I first tried it, but now I smoke a fair bit. For me it's one of those blends that transform if the tin has been open...

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

I was keeping an eye on that as the shaping really appealed to me. I also thought the alignment looked off & wondered if it was because of the crack & could be fixed by banding. Thankfully it went for far more than my maximum, so no need to find out!

Mac Baren Burley London Blend Available!

I looked it up, there are 29 places called 'London' according to Google - far better for my health & good temper to assume they're referring to someplace outside the UK!

Smoke Queen Is Back! And She Got Married!

Good to see you again - & huge congratulations, glad to hear it's all working out!

    A Match or a Lighter?

Well, there's the beauty of needing to light the wick - always a perfectly normal lighter knocking around too. Not impressive perhaps, but sufficient unto the hour & all that.

    A Match or a Lighter?

Hemp wick for me, pretty much exclusively.

Jam Jar Storage Question -> Newbie Storage

I use ones like the IKEA ones for my regular rotation & haven't had any issues yet.

New Special Edition Gawith Hoggarth Blends

Indeed! I thought had tried all of the GH shags, so I'm very excited about #7 - I'll definitely check mysmokingshop out to see if there's anything else I've missed. Thanks for the heads up!

New Special Edition Gawith Hoggarth Blends

Just had a look at that, it's not one I've seen before at my usual online go to - & it looks delicious. Thanks for the heads up!

Jim's Revised Solani 633 and ABF Reviews.

Thanks for the update, I wish I had taste buds half as discriminating as yours! I recently opened a new tin & enjoyed it a bit more than previously. I'd put it down to my tastes changing, but now I wonder if it was the liquorice - I do like liquorice!

New Bruno Nuttens Pipe - This Site Is A Pad Influence

Nice! I like that he generally makes light fairly thin walled pipes (& that he posts the bit thickness on his site). I particularly like his stem work.

I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

New Special Edition Gawith Hoggarth Blends

So, initial impressions time! I'm pretty impressed with them both based on the first couple of bowls. I'm not really into aromatics, but I'm glad I tried the Summer Reserve. The tin smell is out of this world & I'm super-impressed that they've managed to make it taste sort of gin & tonic...

Thanks for sharing! LePipe.it has a reduced Ser Jacopo version up at the moment.

    Meerschaum Pipe Stemwork

Sellers often picture meerschaum pipes against a black background, which makes figuring out how well cut a stem is a mite tricky. What's your experience, are there any recommendations for makers based on stemwork/mouthfeel?

New Special Edition Gawith Hoggarth Blends

That one's pretty interesting, because it's distributed by STG. Their rep, who was one of the most helpful people I've ever reached out to, said that they had no plans to stop distributing the following Mac Baren blends: St Bruno ready Rubbed St Bruno Flake Gold Block Original Flake Highland...
