My thoughts: legal? Yes. Sleazy? Yes. There's probably more ethical - and rewarding - ways to earn a buck than by trying to create a perceived shortage for a good and then gouging people for it. But no shortage of this kind of laziness in the world, this is just another example.- stearmandriver

965, Proper English and Old Dublin are pretty oriental-forward. Based on that: LJ Peretti Royal, Tashkent, Oriental 40 and Cambridge Flake. Hearth & Home White Knight and Magnum Opus. Thanks guys. It sounds like what I was guessing, that there's not a specific additional risk but just additional exposure.
