Be Wary Of 1 Pound Gawith Bags

I agree with Lazar, the cardboard box id say was the culprit here. I doubt that older tobaccos may start drawing lower values. We probably just hear about the bad ones more than the good. I just opened an 18 year old tin of Kingfisher and it was good to go. Wax paper was soiled and it was a...

    Draft Hole Diameter

Good question, I believe its 5/32 but I am nowhere near an expert. Id like to know what a good diameter would be for a slightly tighter draw.. would it be 9/64? Id like to know as I am considering having some custom pipes made. A pipemaker I am not! Following this one for details... :puffy:

Oh man this is great ! Thanks for all the replies . Dark star, yes I tried that recently but I think i need to heat it up a bit first . I still need to try Klondike gold which I was lucky enough to get from a member here.. so many to try. Keep me coming !

What Is the Sweetest Straight Virginia Blend You Have Ever Smoked?

Probably discussed before but I’m making my way through some McClelland blends and thought I’d see what opinions I get. For me so far it’s a very aged tin of Mcc #27. Any straight Virginia blend counts; new or old, current or discountinued... what do you gents think? :puffy: Edited by jvnshr...

    Wanderings In My Cellar

Ok here’s a slightly off-topic question for woods and others - where inside the house do you keep your cellar bins? I have a few plastic bins like this now as well but heat fluctuations concerned me a little bit since it gets really hot in California . The garage is out because it gets...

This exactly, a person wont ever find a match to any McClelland, they were too good and ver high quality. CE nailed it..

Need Replacements for McC Flaked VA.

Tighter Draw- Am I Alone Here?

Reviving this thread Tim! I agree with a really like the feel of a tight draw. I have an Aldo Velani of all brands that has a perfect feel to it, just a slight restriction, but no idea what it’s drilled to. I’m going to keep an eye out for the pipes you mentioned too. Good thread here...
