SP estate pipes; ghosting is to be expected?

Ive heard good things about the coffee ground method, so take fresh coffee grounds and saturate, or use "used" coffee grounds? Eagle, yes thats my thought a bit as well, this pipe was not cheap and although its an estate I thought it would have been good to go. Its a beaut otherwise though and...

SP estate pipes; ghosting is to be expected?

I recently bought a Ser Jacopo from SP.com, and this is about my 7-8th estate pipe from them. I shop SP for estate pipes because of the excellence in customer service, the pipes are always just as pictured and described, and clean. Yeah sometimes you may pay a bit more but Im ok with it. The...

    Smokingpipes TAD... But No Pirate!

Great stock up there! With regards to the Cary Grant mix, would you say its in the same realm as the Frog Morton line? I have plenty of the frog but I also like crossovers and am curious about the Kramers blends... Keep trying for that pirate!

Beware...pin holes in tins. Cardboard tins.

Also they all weigh out to 3.2oz, although one is 3.4. I have some fresh AJ Vaper tins arriving from pipes and cigars that I’ll weigh and compare to these older Ann k tins.

Beware...pin holes in tins. Cardboard tins.

So I did some research as I just traded for some tins of Ann k. These are the gold bottomed tins though and appear to be like new (which of course doesn’t always mean they are fine). But it seems the consensus is that the newer gold bottom tins are ok for long term storage ? I was thinking...

RIP Richard "Old Man" Harrison of Pawn Stars

That’s too bad. I never understood why these guys ran a pawn shop but never knew the value of anything. Every episode I happened to watch they always had to “call in an expert” to value something. Perhaps it was just to make the episodes longer but it made no sense if these guys were supposed...
