This Ever Happen to You? USPS

Last week I had two boxes get to the local main hub in my city, get marked as return to sender , and then stop tracking. I went to talk with the “shipping supervisor “ because my local usps said the boxes were there according to tracking . The super at the main hub couldn’t find them but...

Humectants in Kohlhase & Kopp Blends?

Same here. Ive tried alot of the K & K made virginias and every single one gives me a strange feeling in the back of my throat that oddly enough turns into a feeling of heartburn. Ive never experienced this with any other blender, but I stopped buying those blends because of it. I notice it...

    Morgan Bones Artubus

I can’t ever envision myself buying a pipe with bunny ears stamped on it. Those unfinished Savinellis are sharp and from What I’ve seen, a much better choice than than those bones pipes. But to each his own ...

    Very Sad News

This is heartbreaking news. Banjo and I had a couple trades and some back and forth via email in the days that followed. A finer gentleman I haven’t ever met, and I’m definitely envious of any of you who met this good man in person. I’ll never forget his post about the young girls who saw him...

    Penzance vs Margate....

Jf Germain just released a new product called 1820 Flake; they say their 1820 Blend is the base for Penzance. Looks interesting and reviews for it so far are very good

    Plum Pudding Special Reserve

Plum pudding is an excellent blend, especially the special reserve. Eileen's dream is one of the worst, if not the worst tobacco I have ever smoked. After several bowls, I gave up. And I like aromatics just as much as others!

    NOT Sir John's Flake

My tins were replaced by f and k cigar as well and showed up this week. They did allow me to keep some of the wrong flake so I did so, so I’ve now got a handful of tinsof the incorrect and correct blend , good stuff

    Using Filters - or Not?

You’ll get 50/50 answers on this one. I personally use the balsa “filters” with every smoke if my pipe accepts it. They don’t change the flavor profile of the leaf, and they cut down on moisture .

Just Popped a Jar of Bullseye

I have some aging, but I also bought 3 more pounds during that sale, the price was down near $1.40 an ounce . I bought a flat of 4oz wide mouth ball jars (the short ones that hold 2+ oz) and jarred it all. Will open one every few years ... do luxury twist and navy flake age as well?

    McClelland 2035 Question

It starts out with some brown in the dark flakes as well, but with that much age, they should be all black as youve found. Enjoy it!

    Savinelli 122 vs 121?

The 122 is one of my favorite shapes; I have several. I can tell you with certainty that the 121 is just a bigger bowled version . Check the bowl dimensions between the two, the 122 is more average and the 121 is like an XL size.
