    St. Bruno in a BBB

Howdy all. Just thought I'd share my experience. I recently bought an old BBB Own Make Virgin billiard that had seen some wear and tear over the years but fundamentally was in good shape. I cleaned her up and decided to recommision her with some St. Bruno. Now I've only had a few bowls of ole...

    New Guy From Down Under

Howdy Rob. Another welcome from the state of Texas. Hope to see much more of you around here in the future. Let us know what you like and dislike about some blends. Always good to see other peoples' perspectives.

    Hey All!

Yep. Remember your avatar. It has been quite a while. Well, sorry to hear you're not involved anymore. Just list your tobacco on the tobacco sell/swap forum and the age of them if you know and I'm sure there will be some folks interested. Good to hear from you again.

    Cellaring Pouched Tobacco

Yaddy I'm not sure myself, but I also have some of that St.Bruno in the foil-sealed containers and I jarred mine up. Seems like I read somewhere here on the forums where that wasn't reliable for long-term storage.

New Blend Winners? Dunhill Dark Flake?

Harris, I have recently acquired and tasted the JA Dragon Flake, due to someone's post on here couple of weeks ago. It is certainly a dessert smoke for me. It is a rich and sweet tasting smoke, but as far as aromatics go it is one of the best to my tastes. It was practically smokeable from the...

    Helping (Grand) Daddy

My condolences too Al. Sorry for your loss but glad you have peace of mind, and a little girl to cheer you up. I have a 17 month granddaughter and every time I see her all troubles seem to fade away.

    C&D Dreams of Kadath Plug

Thank you Jeremy for that explanation of your process of making plugs. So that explains there is a process of producing a true plug here in the states without resorting to it being produced elsewhere, and then imported to us. Also, it means that it isn't just a dual option of either being an...

Disaster! Condor Factory Closes in Ireland!

I think Hawky spells pretty good for a 3rd grade education :nana:

    Aged Condor...

Well, mysmokingshop does not ship tobacco to the U.S. via credit card sales, so I guess another form of payment would have to be worked out

    Aged Condor...

Jay, thanks for the info on Warrior Plug. I had purchased from The Pipe Divan in Ireland, and they quit carrying it, so I thought it had gotten axed along with the others. I will have to check out Mysmokingshop. Dave, it may just be in my head since I've only tried one bowl from the Condor plug...

    Aged Condor...

Just had a bowl of Condor earlier today. Yeah, I could become a codger like Simon (sorry Simon :nana:)Condor is that good and I am very content with that taste. Still, I'm not quite there yet. So Simon, since Warrior is not being produced anymore, you got a backstock to carry you through the years?

    C&D Dreams of Kadath Plug

This just became available again at Smoking Pipes. Since this is a plug I am wanting to try this. I am curious though since I was under the impression that here in the states a true plug was not/has not been made, that is with whole leaves pressed together under pressure to produce a...

    So Close!

So Hawky, I suppose you smoke Condor in one and St. Bruno in the other eh?

    Aged Condor...

Only 60 plugs? You poor thing. Ha...just ribbing you jitter. I have maybe 10 plugs and they're the 25g at that. And about 4 or 5 pouches of the RR and LC. I'm not going to run out anytime soon as I only smoke a couple times a week, except for vacations. Hawky, I hear ya. You have to go through...
