Never had that from Virginia's. But I distinctly remember the first bowl of Dunhill London Mixture definitely reminded me of camel blues. Burleys now remind me the most of cigarettes, although just barely.
C&D Daylight: Or L'yom in the Savinelli 106. Really enjoying this lighter English blend in sunny mornings. Slowly progressing through The Brothers Karamazov.
You might enjoy presbyterian.
Edit: GLP Embarcadero is also good stuff. Realized this is actually considered an Virginia, but has a great Turkish leaf in it.
I've done it with similar blends. Did it with a bit of GLP Cairo and C&D Byzantium. I slapped a label on it and called it Nile Dawn, something of my own creation.
A little late on this thread but have been eyeing a meer. Anyone have some insight as to the history of the shapes, or what may be considered more "traditional"?
Here in small town Ohio, I occasionally see an old man walking with a pipe and the rare guy driving with a pipe. I'm sure they're around like myself - usually restricted to smoking in the garage or at night alone. No local pipe shop.
