I am very new to pipes, having my first experience with one just last week. I have smoked cigarettes occasionally for a few months. I have also tried cigars but they aren't for me.
I knew I had found something fitting when I tried pipe tobacco. I enjoy that the smoke is pleasantly cooler and focused on flavor, aroma, and relaxation, rather than a fast kick of nicotine as a cigarette intends. This relaxation is an excellent way to unwind after my long workday at an industrial printing factory.
I look forward to exploring a variety of blends and am especially excited for seasonal ones. Autumn and the Holiday Season are my favorite times of the year.
