He's doing some work for me and I noticed a picture in his Instagram from a while back that looked familiar. Days later it hit me, that was the pipe. I asked him about it and he said he made it before he had a stamp. It now makes sense that this wasn't just a nice basket pipe. The stem work, drilling, everything about it is great. Perfect traveling pipe.
And this is why I set a small budget aside strictly for bargain bins at shows.

I notice they're smoking clay pipes in this painting from 1636; which side do you think they'd be on in the Civil War a few years later?

That pipe is nice as heck man! 30th birthday coming up next month might need to grab one of these artisan one offs.
