What Has The Most Age In Your Cellar?

We have a varied climate here, I'm at 44degrees south which is on a par with the south of France, Portugal (or Nova Scotia!) in the north. ....also, have not yet tested the band but looks to be (maybe) 10K Rose Gold? And wondering if the stem is original. It's a little loose in the tenon but can't expand it like i could vulcanite. Anyway, i'll clean it up and give it a try with some Erinmore Mixture ;-) -

Awesome info, many thanks lcm ! .....I'll put together a pic of my collection so far - most of my Dunhill's and Barling's are missing stems unfortunately, however I'm capable of making replacements from blanks as I'm a jeweller by trade and pretty handy at that sort of stuff, so at least I can... -

Hi all from lil'ol' New Zealand. Having trouble finding any info on this stamp on a Bulldog bowl shank, newly acquired in a cache of estate pipes i bought...."RYTS" & "London Made". No other marks anywhere. Cheers
