I had been thinking about getting a Savinelli in the Porto Cervo line for a while. So when TobaccoPipes had their 30% off Black Friday sale, I pulled the trigger on a 305 model that I had been eyeing.

It’s very close. Almost got that one. It’s an X105, Walnut spigot.@Casual ,gorgeous looking pipe and very nice lighter, congrats, is this Peterson mod 106 ?
Should go well with a walnut case. It’s very close. Almost got that one. It’s an X105, Walnut spigot.
Who's the maker? It reminds me of some of the pipes LaVoice has been making lately-I ended up with this one, and a Peterson Lovat. View attachment 11009
Yup, it’s one of his. Called the “Smokey Stomp” it’s a cute little cutty nose warmer with a big bowl and a lot of artistic interpretation. It’s my wife’s Christmas gift to me that I bought.Who's the maker? It reminds me of some of the pipes LaVoice has been making lately-

I won’t be into it until Christmas, when I open it. Technically I already got it, inspected it and then gave it to my wife to wrap and regift. But the drilling and workmanship are spot on. I’m looking forward to burning it!Beautiful acquisition, mikefu. ? I've been eyeing Steven's pipes for a while now! How does it smoke?
I was thinking the same thing!Should go well with a walnut case.
I don't think that's a cutty; it's more of a cherrywood—a freehand cherrywood if you will. Masterfully done too.Yup, it’s one of his. I’m calling it an interpretive cutty. Look at the forward cant on the straight stem, and the foot. It’s technically a freehand, I suppose, but it’s like a tulip bowled cutty, with lots of artisanal variation. It’s mine so I’ll call it what I want. nanaI don't think that's a cutty; it's more of a cherrywood—a freehand cherrywood if you will. Masterfully done too.
Gracias! I’ll keep you posted.Fantastic! There have been inquiries on the quality of Owl Pipes before, but very little information from those who own them. I would love to see a thread on it once you get around to breaking it in. Congrats! ?
