I blame playing online games instead of football and baseball in the cow pasture, or texting instead of roaming in the woods.

I agree that there's a lot of that going on.

When I was a kid we were outside all day.

They have too much entertainment inside to go out and play, now. My kid goes outside, but that's because I've kept it boring inside for him.

Kids don't need to be cut loose with the internet. They don't have the ability to put it down and go find other things to do.

All that being said, kids these days look and act like they've been poisoned.

Around here Dairy Queen has some good burgers. I did like a QP meal at MCDonalds until they hit me up for $16. Havnt been back since. But yes, BK has always been bad.

All this talk of Whoppers etched away at me so I finally bought one at Burger King while at Walmart. It was the way I remembered it. Charbroiled and the unique taste of their sauce, the onions, lettuce, tomatoes- all as I remembered it.

There are some who will always go the opposite of most folks. I am not one of them. I like simple things and at this moment for this moment- I liked the whopper. I’ve had some good hamburgers in my life - but none are life changing. This whopper was okay and I am glad I tried one after decades of passing them up.

I last ate a Whopper in 1995, in Lakehurst, NJ, just outside the military base where the Hindenburg crashed. It was the best fast food burger I’ve ever had.

Skip ahead 15 years and I’m driving home from a day of work in Brooklyn. It was hot, humid and I wasn’t feeling well. Realizing that I hadn’t eaten all day, I stopped at the BK in Coopersburg, PA and devoured a large order of their deliciously fatty onion rings. 24 hours later I was in the Cath Lab at St. Lukes Hospital getting a stent installed. Have not eaten fast food since then, and I do miss it!

Went to Culver's, had a "Butter Burger," some fries, and some cheese turds.

Ya'll can keep that mess. I wouldn't go out of my way for it. The pickles suck, they tasted like cucumbers.

You brag about being from Wisconsin yet your cheese curds taste like something I could buy at Wal-Mart and cook in the microwave.

Went to Whataburger a few days later to check, and yes it's still the king.

Maybe I'm just not white enough to honkey it up at Culver's... I'm enough of a cracker to enjoy Chick-fil-A, but not enough for Culver's.
Now there you go, Funk, blowing my image of you.

Just had my first Culver ButterBurger about a month ago as we and another couple made our way to Louisville for the Kentucky Derby. I loved the burger and the "cheese turds" as you called them.

Now take a look at @craiginthecorn post just a little ways back. Now he knows how to identify and appreciate a good burger.

Some folks wouldn't appreciate it if you hung'em with a new rope........................ :ROFLMAO:
