Since winter is giving us one last kiss goodbye (damn snow), I decided it was soup day. Had a ham bone in the freezer, so I made a pot of split pea and ham with some toasted cheesy garlic baguettes to dip. Come on, spring! Any time would be great.
Wife made nachos tonight. Bless her heart, she tries to cook. The beef was so salty a cow would lick it. At least she didn't burn anything. Ate it anyway like a good husband should.
Potstickers with gyoza sauce pork egg rolls are what they must be serving in heaven as a first course. Great in cold weather. Here is KC it's about 50, rainy as all get out, and windy to boot. I'm going to make some right now!!
