Regardless of what it's called, disadvantaging and/or profiteering off your own kind to make a quick buck, is still best defined as a dick move.

The same argument could be made about food, shelter, and medical care. The difference is that food, shelter, and medical care are necessities while tobacco is not.

I don't get upset about tobacco scalping for that reason. People can choose not to buy jacked up tobacco and their lives will go on just fine. A $200,000 bill for two shots of anti-venom to save your snake bitten toddler (true story) is a different thing altogether.

All that said, yes, it's a dick move.

I definitely think the Cringle Flakes will be highly sought after, they always sold out so quickly as it is. Maybe the Birds of a Feather and Pipe Force stuff too since we're unlikely to get another limited edition series from Per Jensen unless he finds a new home. As for Mac Baren definitely the HH line, especially since it was made with unique equipment meaning it can't easily be matched.
Per one of his recent interviews, he’s doing a couple of new flakes for Glendora, which is a Turkish company. I have no idea if there would be any US distribution of those blends

I love the Revelation & Walnut Matches...BIG loss for me! Such a sad thing this corporate buyout thing...
4 Noggins has a Revelation match called Baldheaded Teacher. Used to be made using McClelland tobaccos and now uses Sutliff IIRC. It’s pretty good and still in stock as of a few days ago. You might want to check it out.

Yeah, I know.
STG has two plants, but in the future will only have Assens, therefore I was curious whether 507C is produced in Svendborg-if so it’ll go away 2027…. Per leonard
STG has a plant in Svendborg (in addition to the Mac Baren’s facility)?

I just spent way too much time in an unsuccessful search for the original thread, but I thought his point was that LNF/507c was all made in STG’s plant in Assens, and that 507c as a separate SKU was being discontinued. I may be mixing all of this up.

Definitely Hearth & Home, especially since much of their lineup is reproductions of classic bygone blends and even a few of codger blends that are still available but have changed drastically
I really enjoy their signature series "Cake" formed......
The marble cake one is fantastic. Sadly, going to be a deadline of tobacco i fear.

Yeah unless C&D steps in and provides the tobacco, Hearth & Home is toast. I managed to score a tin of Black House and a tin of Fusilier's Ration, I'm looking forward to smoking them.

Hearth and Homes Marble Cake and Anniversary Cake turned to shit a few years ago. These used to be my favorite, and I still have a little cellared away. But, about this time last year, I ordered a pound more of each, and they smelled like actual cowshit. No kidding. I had to throw them away, because my wife kept complaining about the smell in my tobacco room. She said it smelled like I had brought a wheelbarrow full of shit into there.

Whatever that base tobacco was that they used in those blends ran out, and they turned to some foul stuff as a replacement. I am not sure anyone could stomach smoking the new blends of that shit.

maybe you had a bad batch of anniversary cake.
Mine don't smell bad, and smoke quite well with a pleasant note as told to me by my neighbor.
You have me questioning myself now. I am going to revisit the bag and see the scents on them.

It was Annie Cake and Marble Cake both. It was bought at about this time last year. Before that, the blend barely had a tin note and smelled like bread cooking when smoked.
Whether yours is like that, might depend on if wherever you bought yours had the older stock or this new stinky stuff.
