My first real car was a 1970 Ford Mustang "Boss 302" 4 speed.....Paid just at $3900.00 for

it on the local dealer's floor. Damn it was fast and I'm just lucky to have lived through

my ownership of it............

My first car was an electric blue Geo Metro, the one with three cylinders. Trust me when I tell you, it is better that you DON'T see a picture...because you'd be so jealous of course.

My first car was a hand down from my mom, a 1967 Ford Thunderbird. First car I bought was a 1975 Datsun 510 in Orange. Only paid around 800.00 I think.

In 1976 I bought a '71 Merc Cougar.

I loved that car. I wish I would have managed to keep it all these years.

HA! A 1987 Ford Tempo Sport. Looked just like the one in the video below, but was black and had a ton of rust on it. I don't think it was a GL, but it might have been.

When I got rid of it, I was going through 4 qts. of oil a week and it had it's own smokescreen when I stopped at lights.

My first was a 1969 chevy nomad station wagon. 3 on the tree, manual brakes, manual transmission. It was a classic!

I put brown shag carpet in the back and made it my make out wagon. Sweet memories.

My first one was a '53 Plymouth(Gunmetal Gray). Straight drive, vacuum wipers and tube radio. The back seat was like a couch and great at the drive in.

My TOTALLY RAD Datsun b210. Cost me all of $900 when I graduated from high school. I blew out two head gaskets and spent 2 glorious summers with a traveling acting company in it. It didn't have power steering or air conditioning but it was all mine.

Because of the gas crunch of 1974 I bought this little "gem" a 1974 Fiat 128 coupe Sl. First the timing belt broke at while I was doing 70 mph on my way back to Fort Gordon. After getting the engine rebuilt It ran like a swiss watch. It sat idle for 2 years when I shipped out for overseas(no one in the family could drive a standard shift).

When I returned It started with little effort and then proceeded to catch fire in my driveway. After that It was all down hill. I finally got rid or it in 1979 and swore to never buy an import again. I have been a Ford man now for 23 years.
