Mine was 1960 Falcon 2 door 144 engine light blue. Senior year in High school.

Oil pump Shaft twisted and burn out the engine. Put a 200ci and bored it out. Painted it

a midnight blue. Could back it up in reverse and put in first. Set there and spin the tires flat.

Made a few bucks proving that. They said A & W root beer place in Tampa fla was paved with my tires..

No body told me that the girls did not like Falcons but could not afford the Vets and the 289 Stangs

or the 327 Chevs. So I guess I saved money. Dutch teart.

Mine was a white, 1968 Chevy Impala 2 door coupe (not the fastback, which I hated), kinda' like this one (except, mine was all stock):

I know I've got pics of it somewhere. Will have to find them and scan a few.
Kick myself in the butt every time I think about that I sold it. It only got about 8 blocks to the gallon but the tank held about 30 gallons and the trunk was big enough to hold a few bodies (which, in New Jersey--where I lived at the time--was important ) I still want that car back!
Oh yeah, just remembered!--the roll down window on the passenger side always fell down off it's track when you rolled it down!--used to scare the bejesus out of my high school sweetheart at the time!--She'd always give me a look like, "when are you gonna' fix that?" I never could get it to work right (even after many attempts). Oh well, I would still like that car back.
